SHAH ALAM – After a shock win of 73 parliamentary seats, Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin claimed that his coalition received a letter from Istana Negara with instructions from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
He added that the coalition leaders will have a meeting and an answer by (Sunday) evening.
“We will have to fulfil instructions laid out by the Agong,” he said in a press conference at 3am.
Muhyiddin also stressed that PN will not work with rival Pakatan Harapan.
Meanwhile, Muhyiddin thanked the people, especially young voters that backed PN.
He added that PN will arrange talks with party leaders from Sabah and Sarawak to work together and for the talks to be settled as soon as possible.
“We are ready and willing to work with any party that agrees and is in line with our values.”
